Bruce Lee was born in the family of Chinese father and Chinese-German mother in San Francisco, In 1040 Whole family moved to Hong Kong when Bruce was three years old. Bruce’s father was well-known Cantonese opera star and he hoped that Bruce would choose the same career. But when Bruce was 18years old, he took part in street fight and got problems with police. So, he left Hong Kong and went to Seattle. There he graduated high school and got diploma of Edison Technical School. Then he entered University of Washington where began to study drama as a major and took classes in philosophy. During studies at the university Lee met with Linda Emerly who became his wife. They had two children – son Brandon and daughter Shannon.
When Bruce arrived to the USA he began to think about the acting career. In 1964 he took part on Long Beach Karate Tournament and his performance attracted attention of representatives of entertainment industry. Lee was invited to take part in TV series “The Green Hornet” where he played the role of Kato. This show became very popular in Hong Kong. Then Lee repeated the role of Kato in Batman TV show. Then Bruce was tired of small roles. He returned to Hong Kong where he was proposed leading role in “The Big Boss”. Then was such movies as “Fist of Fury” and “Way of the Dragon” All of these movies gains amazing popularity and success. In 1973 Bruce played leading role in “Enter the Dragon”, but three weeks before the release he mysteriously died at the age of 32.
But in spite of his short life, his fame and popularity is still alive and will inspire a lot of people in future.
